  • Question

  • Hello,

I am new to Power BI, experienced in SQL Server as a DBA for 10 yrs. I already watched some videos and documentation on powerBI. one of the question i have is

Lets say, we have 10 developers who are going to build reports in powerBI, we have end users in the same organization which is non IT staff who are going to consume those reports.

How does it work? Does individual developers has to login to powerBI with their own credential to build reports? Once they build report, they share or publish within group of people inside organization, is it true?

If developer use their own credential to build report in powerBI, And lets say if Developer leaves or some other developer wants to modify same report in future, is it possible, how?

    Any help???

how do i have to build infrastructure for this? One server for gateway on premise. Then utilize powerBI service and get data from on premise sql servers.
