Hi Vasekar, I don't know.
I'm a big fan of the Small Basic objective as well. I wish that a certification would be seriously considered.
Some reasons why I think it should be are:
- it would effectively promote SB and seriously augment its objective of encouraging people into programming
- would accurately reflect a meritious competency and familiarity in programming at a introductory level. Perhaps it could be considered to show a degree of competency as well, e.g. beginner, intermediate and proficient/expert.
- would assist people in gaining entry level employment in IT. Something a young enthusiast could proudly hang on their wall.
- perhaps assist teachers with curriculum and also certify the teacher in their professional use of SB.
Reasons why it shouldn't:
- none
Anyway I shouldn't nag, just some thoughts. Things are amazing as they are.

Microsoft language certification is not available for Small Basic, yet.
It is not consider as a professional language (sadly)
But if it grow and grow, development many and many extensions, I believe ( I hope, I wish) that our dear Small Basic will stay on the first line.
In fact, most companies check your knowledge and experience in C# or VB.NET...more important than a certification.

Thanks everybody for agreeing with me and giving supportive feedback. It hopes that definitely the required mechanism will develop where new comer like me may test his own knowledge about the small basic.
