  • Can smallbasic use GIF images I have loaded one but can't seem to get it to work. I know WPF isn't really designed for games but I would like to create some nice animations.

  • WPF suports gif images. What you are talking about is animated gif.

    It is possible to use animated images with WPF but that requires little extra coding.

    For example Media player in Data Extension supports animated images.

    GameWindow.Show()
    M = Media.CreateMediaPlayer("Put your GIF path here",10,10,100,100)
    While "True"
      Media.Play(M)
      TextWindow.Read()
      Media.Stop(M)
      TextWindow.Read()
    EndWhile
