  • Hello Jahanzeb Jabbar,

I do not know what package you are trying to install and if the package is not installed correctly, please ask it on the NutGet support forum.

And as far as I know, we cannot use the ADO.NET api class in a Windows Phone or A Windows Store App. These type of applications run in a sandboxed environment and don't support directly accessing a MySql database.

If you want to connect to a remote database server you should move your data access code to a service and then call this service from your Windows Phone application to access the data.

There is an example of how to connect to a local sqlsever database from a Windows Store/Windows Phone 8.1 App available here:

    https://code.msdn.microsoft.com/windowsapps/How-to-access-data-from-5f2602ec

You just need to replace the database from Sql Server to MySql database in your case.

    Regards.
