I have a requirement to read values contained in a .vdb4 file.  I would rather not want to spend $1600 for the whole product.  So far, I have not found any other

solution.  Jet.OleDB doesn't seem to work.  ADO.net doesn't seem to support the format. Internet search didn't help

Do any of you know of a vdb4 reader?  Or another solution or advice?

have you called them about single user or developer license?  May cost less.  Or perhaps the demo version is free and you can at least extract your data to flat file.
