disable listview contentTransition animation

    Question

  • Hi,

    I'm trying to add items with ajax to my incremental loading listview.

    Can I cancel the contentTransition animation?

  • So apparently the answer is:

    dataList.dataSource.insertAtEnd(null, newObj);

    when "dataList" is the object that we bind our data to the listview and "newObj" is a single object.

    No animation will occur.

  • If I bind data source again:

    listViewControl.itemDataSource = Data.itemList.dataSource;

    the animation will take place, if I don't the listview doesn't get updated . . .

  • I guess what I want to ask is how to add/append/update the listview without binding the list again . . .
