How do I use ampersands for values with the Multilingual App Toolkit? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Some of the values in my en-US\Resources.resw file contain ampersands. When using the Multilingual App Toolkit for other languages the source value shows up with %%amp; I get errors if the translated value doesn't also contain %%amp; and I'm unable to save the file. I don't want ampersands in the translated text.

Is there something wrong with the way I'm using MAT or is there a bug with MAT?

  • A new version of the Multilingual App Toolkit has been released that resolves the issue with the matching %%amp; requirement in the target value. The version is v1.1.1075.0 as displayed in the VS IDE Extensions and Updates dialog. This should resolve your issue.
