Hot fix replacement information RRS feed

    These two hot fixes are for issues in the same file "fltmgr.sys"

    KB2575077

    KB2710594

    The support links both state that neither fix is a replacement.  Does this mean I have to choose?

    This MS field engineer implied that the newer hot fix superseded the older hot fix on this blog link:

  • Unless I am missing something, they address different issues.

    KB2575077 - "Computer randomly stops responding because of a deadlock situation in Windows Server 2008 R2 or in Windows 7 "

    KB2710594 - "Memory leak when a file system minifilter driver calls the FltCreateSystemVolumeInformationFolder function in Windows 7 or in Windows Server 2008 R2"
