Hot fix replacement information

Question
-
These two hot fixes are for issues in the same file "fltmgr.sys"
KB2575077
KB2710594
The support links both state that neither fix is a replacement. Does this mean I have to choose?
This MS field engineer implied that the newer hot fix superseded the older hot fix on this blog link:

Which is true?

Unless I am missing something, they address different issues.
KB2575077 - "Computer randomly stops responding because of a deadlock situation in Windows Server 2008 R2 or in Windows 7 "
KB2710594 - "Memory leak when a file system minifilter driver calls the FltCreateSystemVolumeInformationFolder function in Windows 7 or in Windows Server 2008 R2"

I agree, the real question is which problem are you experiencing?
