Customizing Folders with Thumbnails in Picture Libraries RRS feed

  • Question

  • I know this was asked but not really answered a couple of years ago, but is there any way, even with a third-party application, to customize each folder in a picture library with a representative photo contained in that particular folder? And I don't mean altering the stock gif of the folder with a different 37x37 pixel image that subsequently appears site-wide.

As it is, it's an unattractive tiny little folder centered in a large gray square, and a larger folder with a thumbnail of, for example, the first image in the library, would really be desirable.

  • HI,

You can achive this by using conditional formatting in sharepoint designer 2010.
