PrintSchema for the PageWatermarkTextColor (WHQL Logo Test) RRS feed

  • Question

  • Dear MS Gurus,
    right now, i am running the WHQL Logo Test for my monolithic XPSDrv under Windows Vista, when i test the "Print Ticket Test(pttest2.exe)", the DTM report the following errors:

    "RROR: The child Property of the ParameterDef 'PageWatermarkTextColor' does not have a valid PrintSchema URI or name(http://schemas.microsoft.com/windows/2003/08/printing/printschemaframework:MinLength). The name can be either DataType, DefaultValue, Mandatory, UnitType, MaxValue, MinValue Multiple"

    but i see the PageWatermarkTextColor keyword could contain the "MinLength" (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms716515(VS.85).aspx), so I am very confused about whether we use the MinLength or the MinValue. So is there any Microsoft Guru to push me in the correct direction?

    Thanks.
    Best Regards.

  • Hi Achellies,

    Are you using an older version of the logo kit? This sounds like an issue that was fixed for Windows Vista SP1.

    Note that details of support for WLK can be found here:
       http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/winlogo/WLK/default.mspx

    We recommend using the options there for the best places to ask questions and get answers.

  •  Dear adrian,
    I use the DTM1.3.7000.x to test our XPSDrv, and our Server is Windows Server 2003, the client is Windows Vista(without any fixed package, such as Server Pack 1.0 etc.). As you mention above, Is the DTM1.3 is the latest package for the WHQL Test? if so, should i update the Client with the Windows Vista Server Pack 1.0?
    As your advice, i see the: http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/winlogo/WLK/default.mspx, but i could not found any available documents for the DTM1.3 Updates. would you mind to tell me when the Release documents are available?

    There is another problem, as i know, if we want our XPSDrv to support the Pre-Vista OS, we only need to add the following sentences:
    PrintProcessor="MS_XPS,filterpipelineproc.dll"
    Include=NTPRINT.INF, MSXPSDRV.INF
    but when we implement the "Inf Syntex Test" under DTM, the following errors are reported:
    ; (DE22.23.8531) PrintProcDLLName "filterpipelineproc.dll" is not found in a SourceDisksFiles section in this INF.
    ; (DE22.23.8561) PrintProcDLLName "filterpipelineproc.dll" is not copied by (referenced in) any CopyFiles directive for DDInstall section "XPSDRV_PRE_VISTA".
    so i want to ask whether we should put the "filterPipelineProc.dll" into our Driver Release package or not? or is this still a fixed bugs in the latest DTM1.3 Updates?
