Where is the timer set that does the log off if there is no activity ? And question two, the Remember Me button doesnt seem to work - after whatever the inactive timer goes off, I have to re log on. Thanks

That should do it.

The session time-out controls the "timer" but it doens't log you out magically. You need to write code to redirectly to the login page if the session is lost. Remember is typically cookie related. If you have cookies disabled, it won't work.

There is no magic - but like just happened, I was testing the app, then went off for breakfast, came back and when I started entering data again, I was redirected to the log on page. That time interval is what I am trying to a) find and b) increase.

It "should" be the session time-out in the web.config

Thanks adamturner34, I am giving that a try. See below, I am setting it for 4 hours , I "hope". I am only setting it that high here in my development environment. In production, I am thinking a max of 60 minutes.
<authentication mode="Forms"> <forms timeout="240"/> </authentication> <sessionState timeout="240"/>
