hello,
anyone out there using any 3rd party tools for stuff like - backup, restore, content move, replication and/or migration that they can recommend?

Hi,
i have used AvePoint and Quest for many years both for SharePoint and for other Microsoft Products (for backup, migration and managing) and must say that those two are the best on the market.
You could try both of them for free and they are often helpful!

Moving to General as asking for tools (yes, even Admin tools). Admin is more for SP's own admin functions.
