Horizontal scrolling normal page

Question

I know about list views grid views etc... i want to place graphs on my page and have the page scroll horizontally to show different graphics.. this is not a list and i do not think i should have to "fake" a list just to populate it with graphs.. 

How do i make a normal page scroll horizontally?

I got to say documentation for windows 8 winJS is utter rubish... stockoverflow to the rescue.
