hi all, i know what's data mining but i have some difficulties understanding what exactly is a "data warehouse", the explanation in wikipedia is pretty tough to understand, is a "data warehouse" simply a tool for us to do "data-mining"?

Hi,

simply speaking is a datawarehouse a pool of  conformed data. A data warehouse provides its data to different tools e.g. OLAP or data mining tools.

Please look for Corporate Information Factory as google or wikipedia.
