Target Invocation Exception RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I'm running Tortoise.Show() command using SmallBasicFun extensions. I downloaded the latest version 0.34 from codeplex site.

I get this unhandled exception on some laptops(I'm setting up 10 laptops for kids workshop), but not the others. All laptoops are 64  bit, some Dell, some HP, Windows 7.

Then it pops up "tmp8B7d.tmp.exe stopped working".

Any advice what may be different between the machines?

    Appreciate the prompt response.

  • Can't see from this stack what the issue may be, doesn't actually look like the extension.  Is it only with this extension or do you get problems with standard SmallBasic, e.g. Turtle.Show()?

Problems in the past are usually about .Net, but you have Windows 7 so all should be OK there.

Other issues have been about permissions, in particular to the %temp% folder used by SmallBasic.

I guess to troubleshoot try simple standard SmallBasic programs first.
