  • Hi Desmond,

There is a section called "Windows HLK supplemental media test content" at https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/hardware/dn913721.aspx and it has some iso files you can download for use with HLK. But it's not clear which one will have the can file you want - you might need to check them out more closely. hth, Justin [MSFT]

  • Hi Desmond,

I need to correct myself - I'm told we are actually working to get this file added to the supplemental media test content now. Check back next week.

    Thanks,

  • Hi,

Where can download the cab file "Microsoft-OneCore-Graphics-Tools-Package.cab" file for LCD Monitor test?

  • I have been looking for the same files.

I downloaded the latest supplement files and the HLK for Windows 10 RTM.

    The tests still fail.

There is an error message which suggests to use DISM to install the package but I cannot find the package anywhere.

    Any help is appreciated.

  • This is resolved now. The package has been added to the supplemental media test content at https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/hardware/dn913721. Or you can get it from a direct link at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?LinkId=620353.

    Thanks,

  • Thanks for reporting this folks. Some people here are checking into it and we will follow up with results of that. In the meantime, please verify that you are running the right version (that is, you are running the version from the x86 subdirectory on an x86-based PC).

    Thanks,

    Justin

  • Hey Justin,

Just wondering if there has been any update on this?

I had been having a little bit of a play (just needed to be able to be able to run the tests on the 10240 release) and I can confirm that the x86 versions of the files in the CAB are fine, it looks like the install manifests just don't seem to be correct for installing to an x86 machine.

As a stop gap copying the x86 versions of the files from the CAB into System32 does the trick and has got things moving along here, but having a working package is pretty important for proper roll out of testing so it would be great if you can let us know as soon as you know anything.

    Thanks,

    Alex

  • Hi Alex, this is now fixed. The link HLK_GRFX_FOB.zip has the updated packages. Note that the download file name is really HLK_GRFX_FOD.zip. I submitted a request to get the msdn page updated with the correct file name.

    Thanks again everyone.

  • Hi Curtis,

When I install Microsoft-OneCore-Graphics-Tools-Package.cab to Client PC ( Windows10 x64), it reports error 0x80090352, is there something I missing?

I checked the log, there are two major problems, one is "update.ses" is missing, the other is"update.cab" is invalid, have you come across these before?

Is there any updates already? I have the same problem adding Micorost-OneCore-Graphics-Tools-Package.cab, I cannot proceed with WHLK testing on my Windows 10 x86 machine with Error:0x80070057.

    Thanks.

  • Hey Justin,

Thanks for the update, I've tried this out on a few machines here at work (10240 x86), and I get 0x80090352 on each one trying to install the x86 .cab file.

Same errors in CBS Log each time -

2015-09-01 02:08:12, Info CBS Failed to copy manifest: \\?\C:\Users\DTMLLU~1\AppData\Local\Temp\96A9FB4E-98CB-4586-B118-C7EF1A3478A2\update.mum to private store and verify the content. [HRESULT = 0x80090352 - Unknown Error]

Anyone else had problems, or success?

    Regards,

    Alex
