Error in exported pdf with many images RRS feed

  • Question

  • If a .design contains many (generally over 120) objects made with an image brush, or many images, the pdf created by export seems damaged. Adobe 7.0 reports error "Could not find the XObject named 'Im124'."  (not always 124) and does not render the following image items. Adobe 8 gives a slightly different error. At the moment I'm using the "make compound path" tool to limit the number of objects, since many share the same brush, but it's annoying.
This happens also with objects with live effects applied to.

  • Elena,

I've looked through the bugs already filed and I have not seen one on this. Could you email me a sample design file that contains your image brush images? I'll export to a PDF and try to open in Adobe to repro the problem and then file a bug.
