Property Values - VBScript RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

    I am new to custom Outlook forms using VBScript and have run into some problems. I appreciate any help given.

    1. When using Toggle Buttons, I am not able to hide textboxes using label.Visible statement, neither am I able to change the colour of font using label.ForeColor statement

    Sub Item_Open()
       Set FormPage = Item.GetInspector.ModifiedFormPages("Message")
       Set ToggleButton1= FormPage.ToggleButton1
       ToggleButton1.Value = False
       Set ToggleButton2= FormPage.ToggleButton2
       ToggleButton2.Value = False
       Set ToggleButton3= FormPage.ToggleButton3
       ToggleButton3.Value = False
       Set TextBox1 = FormPage.TextBox1
       Set TextBox2 = FormPage.TextBox2
       Set TextBox3 = FormPage.TextBox3
    End Sub
    Sub Item_Send()
       If ToggleButton1.Value = True Then
          TextBox1.Text = "UNSCHEDULED"
          TextBox1.Value = "UNSCHEDULED"
          TextBox1.ForeColor = Red
          TextBox1.Visible = True
          TextBox2.Visible = False
          TextBox3.Visible = False
       End If
       If ToggleButton2.Value = True Then
          TextBox2.Text = "SCHEDULED"
          TextBox2.Value = "SCHEDULED"
          TextBox2.ForeColor = Orange
          TextBox1.Visible = False
          TextBox2.Visible = True
          TextBox3.Visible = False
       End If
    End Sub

    2. When using Datepicker Control and Time Control in the form, I get an error message when trying to open the form, and all other fields appear blank.

    The error message reads: To help prevent malicious code from running, one of more objects in this form were not loaded. For more information, contact your system administrator,

    I do not want to change any security settings. Is there another way around it?

    3. Is there any way to have the contents of the message show up on the Reading Pane as a preview without actually having to open the mail separately.

    Message: This item contains active content that cannot be displated in the Reading Pane. Open the item to read its contents.

    Thanks in advance!
