    Hi, 

    I have used a file attachment control in my form in infopath 2010 and i want to restrict the user to upload only some types of file. But the problem is that the option 'Allow user to attach only the following file types:' is appearing disabled.  I am using office professional plus trail version installed on my system. is there any problem with this.

    Hi tripathi1983,

    I think it is more likely that you are designing a browser enabled form. Browser enabled forms do not support the file attachment allowed file types.

    To confirm this, you can change the compatibility to Filler. After doing so, the option should light up. Browser enabled forms, on the other hand, will inherit file attachment limitations imposed by SharePoint.
