VPN Gateway subnet with UDR RRS feed

  • Question

  • When you apply a UDR to a gateway subnet. How can you troubleshoot the effective routes? As there are no NICs associated with the VNG, you cannot view them as per standard methods.

UDR is required to direct all traffic from VNG to NIC of a virtual appliance.

  • Yes. Applying a UDR to a gateway subnet is supported.

  • There will be no NIC as it is a gateway subnet. All the traffic that will go through the gateway will be forwarded to the next hop as configured by the UDR.
