Scan OWA inbox for particular email subject line then send attachment to harddrive folder RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

We've created an app in .Net that scans the MS Outlook inbox for email messages with particular subject line content and, when it finds a match, it extract the file attachment, sends the attachment to a predefined harddrive folder, and deletes the email.

We now have to do the same thing for OWA emails, but we are having trouble finding help to do this. If it can be done via .Net, it would be great, but we're open to other options.

Can anyone guide us in the right direction?

    Thank you.

    Steve

  • There is only one inbox per mailbox - you are looking at the same thing, whether you do it using Outlook, or OWA.  They are just two different email clients accessing the same data.  Basically, your .Net application is scanning the /only/ inbox, not just the Outlook one.
