replication can support chain? means from A to B and then B to C? RRS feed

  • Question

  • we want to use trasactional or snapshot replication from a Table from instance A to B, then want B to C, means the replication can work well in a replication chain? do we have some best practise for this scenario? or offical document?

    Thanks in advance!

  • Yes, we can achieve this using the Republishing Model.  Have a look at Republishing Data to see the supported republishing scenarios.

    Hope this helps.

  • Yes, republishing. I have done it with transactional replication and works great, I think it is not supported by Snapshot replication.
