Issue with Map not switching to Aerial when Birdseye is not available RRS feed

  • Question

  • Previous, when you were in Birdseye and the user moved the map to an area that didn't have it or zoomed in to far to where birdseye wasn't available, the map would compensate and display an aerial image.
This does not appear to be happening anymore.  All I am seeing now are the No image available tiles.
Was this removed?  If so, why?
Is there going to be a method that allows us to check for Birdseye a la v6.3?
    Anyone else experiencing this issue.

  • This is how v6.3 has always worked. In the past I had used the SOAP services to determine if the birdseye imagery existed. Migrating to v7 is a better approach than to try and hack in the functionality.
