Access to TFS2010 over a VPN Tunnel - What do I need access to? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

We have been running TFS2008 over a vpn tunnel using a Netscaler for compression since it was released to market with just ports 80 and 8080 forwarded to our server.  This last weekend we made the migration to TFS2010 on a new server.  We setup the tunnel the same way and now we can access the web access portal but no one using the Team Explorer client can access the system, they get the standard dialog saying username, password, is wrong, or server is down, path is wrong etc...

The users that are not using the vpn tunnel have no problems at all with either the client or web access.  So are there additional things that need to be done for TFS2010 to get it to work over a vpn tunnel beyond what we needed to do for TFS2008?

    Thanks

    Dan
