  • Tried it in ACCESS 365 and could not do.

  • Lawrence - You realize that example is just a block and not an entire XML code, right?

  • Yes I do. I inserted it in the XML I have but could not get it to work. Not sure which line or lines caused it to fail, but here is how I used it:

    <customUI xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/2006/01/customui">

    <backstage>
      <tab idMso ="TabInfo" visible="false"/>
      <tab idMso="TabOfficeStart" visible="false"/>
      <tab idMso ="TabRecent" visible="false"/>
      <tab idMso ="TabSave" visible="false"/>
      <tab idMso ="TabPrint" visible="false"/>
      <tab idMso ="TabHelp" visible="false"/>
      <button idMso="FileSave" visible="false"/>
      <button idMso="ApplicationOptionsDialog" visible="false"/>
      <button idMso="FileCloseDatabase" visible="false"/>
      <button id="exit" label="Exit" onAction="=RibbonAction('exit')"/>
     </backstage>

    Maybe some additional VBA is needed somewhere

    Then <tabs> start here

  • I don't know what else would be needed. I don't think I've ever even used that XML. I just found it in my folder where I keep my Access tips & tricks.
