  • Hi Subin,

You don't need to install the VC runtime, or .Net components or the VSSDK. The way to deploy your isolated shell is to build a custom installer that installs your stub and custom packages, and then run the VS isolated shell installer, as described in the following help topics. The vs iso shell installer will automatically install the needed prerequisites.

       Visual Studio Isolated Shell
       Installing an Isolated Shell Application

The tricky part is getting access to the isolated (or integrated) shell redist installers. You have to use one of the links in the above topics to get to the connect site, and fill out a survey before you can get the link to the isolated (or integrated) shell download.

  • I have already installed visual studio c++ 2015 redistributable (x86 & x64) both. But when I start the app,  I get an error message "Cannot find one or more components. Please reinstall the application"

  • Hi SPerumbidy,

Have installed Visual Studio SDK and .Net Framework 4.5 on your target machine?

If yes, you need to check your installing steps, make it same as follow.
