Office Web apps on Sharepoint 2010 farm RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Friends,

I would like to install & configure Office Web Apps for a SharePoint 2010 farm environment.

Couldn't able to locate a installable for office web apps!!!

I guess that is freely available & doesn't require even any technet subscriction.

Let me know your thoughts on this, i would like to get the installable first.

ALso, is there any sp1 or any update to consider & also any psconfig required to run post installation.

  • Office web apps are available for download on your licensing web. You can run OWA only if you have some volume licence for Office 2010. There is a SP1 package for OWA, which can be installed afterwards, or can be integrated directly to the setup of OWA.

Also PSconfig has to be run after installing OWA on all nodes in your farm.
