.Net framework 4.8 installation(on server 2012) or windows server 2019 upgrade which is better? RRS feed

  • Hi All,

    Should I install 4.8 framework on a production server(windows 2012) or suggest to upgrade windows to 2019 server edition?

    Please suggest with a brief explanation.

    Thank you for posting here.

    Neither Windows Server 2019 nor 2012 has a default installation of .NET Framework 4.8.

    Check: .NET Framework versions and dependencies

    But in order to get better performance and improved security, I suggest you upgrade windows to 2019 server edition.
