Adjusting Windows CE 6 R3 elements for high DPI screens. RRS feed

  • Question

  • We have an 480 x 800 screen attached to an TI/OMAP processor.   All of the icons, menu bars, fonts displayed on the desktop an observed in any explorer windows are too small to be able to be useful.  The same issue is seen with a simple application displaying a message box.

Does Windows CE 6 R3 support scaling for higher DPI screens?

I've found the registry setting [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\Display\GPE] LogicalPixelsX and LogicalPixelsY and set them to 192 (0xc0).   As a result, GetDeviceCaps returns the modified value but it did not have any effect.
