Oracle meta-data being continually queried by WCF-Custom adapter controlling inserts RRS feed

  • Question

  • Using BizTalk Server 2010 R2 running on Windows Server 2008 R2.

I have a WCF-Custom port through which my integration inserts records into an Oracle table.

The call to my send port occurs from within an orchestration, in which I debatch an input file and for each debatched record I enrich the data and then insert into my oracle table.  The inserts are working just fine, but what my dba has noticed is a large number (corresponding to the number of times the orchestration calls the send port?) of "select table_name, owner from all_tables where table_name like :table_name and owner like :owner.  My port is configured as follows:

    SOAP Action header Action:

    Tables/Insert/CISADM/CI_MR_STAGE_UP

Binding contains metadataPooling set to True.

I can't explain why the select is occurring and this is slowing down my process due to the large number of times it is being executed.

    Any advice is greatly appreciated!
