Error extracting(CRC error) ISO files of VS 2011 Developer Preview...

Question

Hi All,

I recently downloaded Visual Studio 11 Developer Previewer from: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=27538

This contained 3 files(1 exe and 2 .rar files)

When tried to extract to my local disk I get below error window.

CRC FAILED IN VS11_DP_CTP_ULT_ENU.iso

Any inputs/suggestions would be helpful.

Hi Guru,

Could you download the Microsoft File Checksum Integrity Verifier from

http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=11533

In a command prompt, run it on the 3 files you downloaded.  Here are the results I get -

If any of the files differ in checksum above, try re-downloading.

Bringing up thread again, because it may help others. I had the same problem today. Turned out that downloading of 3rd part stopped prematurely and file had 400MB instead of 530MB. Redownloading helped.

Microsoft's File Checksum Integrity Verifier no longer seems to be at that URL and my search results are turning up empty.

Any idea where it might be?
