Multiple websites, same file resources

I have 25+ websites which all provide some of the content (photos) from one big website. The plan was to store files in the filesystem (folder inside website). - All of the websites are hosted on the same server and I have direct access to IIS. How do I have to design this and simplify (not to manually save files for each) so that I can store the photo content in one location on the server, yet share it across all different websites?

Could you not setup a central fileshare and have your IIS hosts point to it
