Working .NET Standard Application on a windows server is not working on a windows server core container RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a Microsoft teams application hosted media bot running properly on a windows server, but throws up the below error when run on a windows server core container(irrespecitive of the version of the windows or .NET).

The dll its says missing is available inside the container on its workspace, and other dlls load fine.

Can anyone please help what could be wrong?

  • I have the same problem!  My Media Bot can not run as a windows service in VirtualMachine. Install VS2019 may resolve the problem, but Install VS2019 everytime is not a good idea.

  • We are having the same issue.  All works fine on local Service Fabric but this error when deployed to Azure.
