  • Hi,

One way to work around this is go into the Spark Dashboard, then the Resource Manager.  Hit Submit which will reset the services on the cluster.  It should take about 20 seconds for them to come back up.  Then refresh the disconnected notebook and it should reconnect.  If it doesn’t, close the notebook and go back into it from the Spark cluster dashboard.

Here is the complete details you may like to refer.

  • Dear all,

I experience the same problem. I followed the guide https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/articles/hdinsight-apache-spark-zeppelin-notebook-jupyter-spark-sql/

and tried to launch both Zeppelin and Jupyter. Unfortunately, both of the were not connecting saying ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED.

    Help is very welcome.

    With best regards, Maxim Panov.
