    Hi Friends,

Are there any good tutorials that discuss session state. For example, what if the server went down while a user was filling out a form and I want them to be able to retrieve these values once they log back in. Thanks !!!

Then you need a persistent state server like Sqlserver or redis.

This is the best practice? Are there examples or steps of how i would structure this ?

Your question assumes Session is the best option.

The HTML form is in the browser while the user enters information into the form.  Session is on the server.  So how do you currently send the user input to the server?  How does the HTML form work?  Is it one big form or are there steps?  Is the user logged in when they enter data in the form?  Are you building an SPA or progressive app?
