How to set activation (connet) timeout RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am implementing a .NET remoting program, and use Activator.CreateInstance to create a remote object. If the server is not available, the default connect timeout seems too long. How do I change it.

I used TCP channel and I know I change the read/write timeout but what about connect timeout?

    Thanks,

  • Thanks.

I tested it. It seems that TcpChannel timeout property works. But the document says it is read/write timeout. I thought connect timeout was controlled differently.
