DBFirst first query performance again ! RRS feed

  • Question

  • hi,

i am using ef 6.13 with firebird in a asp.net and Wpf desktop applicatiion. (Database First)

it's work really good except for the "first time query execution" slow problem

all my queries are  slow first time but  super fast after that .

i have read many articles on this like pregenerating views and compiled queries , some are outdated  and some are for code first, and all this give me a little confusion on the subject .

so i am looking for a practical guidelines and tips to get maximum performance with EF apps even in startup.

    thanks and good day .
