Windows Disk management shows shrink volume disk space available low than available RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am running my laptop on Windows 8 single language edition.

I have a C: driver with ~380 GB free of total 440 GB disk space and I want to create a partition of 300 GB out of it. However, when I run shrink volume from Disk Management, it shows only ~69 GB of available shrink volume.

I am not able to understand this. How can I create a partition of 300 GB?

    Thanks,

    Sachin
