Azure scheduler REST API Returning 403 forbidden

    Question

  • Hi,

    I am trying to Manage my job collection with Azure REST APIs, and I am giving "OAuth"  token for my request.

    Yet my API call is returning below error message.

    {
      "error": {
        "code": "AuthorizationFailed",
        "message": " The client '3b8bf008-9f04-4e60-99c7-8a7c2c080bf2' with object id '3b8bf008-9f04-4e60-99c7-8a7c2c080bf2'  does not have authorization to perform action 'Microsoft.Scheduler/jobCollections/read' over scope  '/subscriptions/xxx/resourceGroups/SwapSendgridRM/providers/Microsoft.Scheduler/jobCollections/swapjob1'."
      }
    }

    Please someone help me with this Issue.

    Thanks in Advance

  • I am able to fix this issue by including my Azure Active Directory application in Access control (IAM) on subscription level with Owner role.

  • How are you able to add the RestAPI App here? When I click Add at the top of the page I only see roles that I'm allowed to add, and not my app. Additionally, if i navigate to the app directly and try to specify myself as a owner it is grayed out.
