  • What is the command you used for Register-SPWorkflowService ? Please share the logs with the correlation ID, if possible try restarting Security token Service in all Servers along with providing App Step Permisisons.

  • did you add the workflow outbound certificate in your SharePoint Web front End Servers Cert Store ? If not add the Workflow certificate in your SharePoint Servers Cert Store, after that try running the below command and then test the workflows.

    Register-SPWorkflowService -SPSite "https://intranet.ABC.com" -WorkflowHostUri "https://ServerFQDN:12290" -AllowOAuthHttp -Force

  • That's not true if you see the command i have given the workflow host URI as HTTPS along with the port no 12290 which allows you to connect with Https only. AllowOAuthHttp is just a parameter which enables OAuth and metadata exchange over HTTP. if you are using HTTPS then you don't have to worry about this Parameter it's just act as standby parameter meaning if in case you create a Web Application with Http it works for that Web App URL as well. Agree it's not recommended in Prod but this doesn't harm connecting your Workflow Manager.

    As i said earlier you might also try by placing the Workflow Outbound Certificate in your SharePoint Web Front End Servers Cert Store and Perform an IISRESET in all the Web Servers and then you can try registering the Workflow Manager again then try it again.

    Register-SPWorkflowService -SPSite "https://intranet.ABC.com" -WorkflowHostUri "https://ServerFQDN:12290" -Force

  • Hmmm, do you see Workflow Outbound in the Cetral Admin manage trust ? below is the direct url for it. if not try uploading it and then perform IISRESET in all Servers, then do the test.
