Can anyone recommend a VB book RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

I'm looking at buying a book to learn Visual Basic, but so far the ones I've seen are fairly basic and don't go into much depth in certain areas that I'm going to be using - for instance connecting to SQL server databases, using/creating XML files and creating programs for PDAs.

All I'd like to know is if anyone can recommend a good all-round book that covers these topics as the shops in my area only have one book, my local library has nothing and the internet hasn't been much help in finding which book to buy either.

The price is irrelevant, just as long as it covers the topics above then that would be massive help!!
