  • Hi All,

     

    I am recruting for a Project Manager capable of either Migrating or Implementing Team Foundation Server.

     

    Her is the advert

     

    One of the world's foremost names in the retail sector is seeking a highly accomplished Project Manager to manage a migration and implementation of Microsoft Team Foundation Server from a current Serena Dimensions platform.

     

    MAIN TASKS:

     

    # Lead and manage the delivery of the above project, in accordance with current practices and policies, actively participating in all aspects of the project.

    # Matrix manage IT Technical teams and external specialists where necessary

    # Define and maintain realistic project and quality plans and track project and timescales against the plan

    # Identify, assess and manage risks to the success of the project, escalating where necessary

    # Ensure project deliverables are implemented within agreed timescales, cost and quality criteria

    # Provide effective leadership ensuring team members are motivated, informed and developing their skills and take appropriate action where performance deviates from agreed tolerances

    # Represent project team with other business managers, ensuring effective relationships are built and maintained with the business

    # Develop and deliver a programme of training to enable staff to transfer smoothly from the current source control system to Team Foundation Server

     

    ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

     

    ~ Experience of Project managing the implemention of Microsoft Team Foundation Server into both greenfield and or migration from Serena Dimensions platform.

     

    The role will pay from £450 to £500 per day and is an initial 3 month contract based in Hertfordshire.
