Hi All,
We are taking regular backups by creating a job. I want to implement a schedule task to perform regular backups. Now my doubt is which one is best. working with a job or with a schedule a task.
I need one more thing. When we want to take the backup i want to supress the memory occupied by the backup.
Please guide me how to handle this and please help me to clear the above mentioned doubt.

If you don't have an experienced DBA, Database Maintenance Wizard is the very, very best option.

Use the Database Maintenance Wizard (SSMS Object Explorer, Maintenance Plans) to build you a Maintenance Plan.
That is your best option if you don't have an experienced DBA.
