Syntax not supported: Streamset not supported in file list.

    Question

  • Hi,

    When submitting a script, I get the following compile error :

    Syntax not supported: Streamset not supported in file list.

    at token 'FROM', line 79
    near the ###:
    **************
    e == "batch" THEN
        IF @deploy == "azure" THEN
            @json_records_raw =
                EXTRACT json_raw string,
                        date DateTime
                 ### FROM @input_sites, @input_cegidlife, @input_fr, @input_rh
                USING Extractors.Text(delimiter : Char.MinValue, quoting : false);
        ELSEIF @deploy == "

    This was working before. Is it a regression ?

    Thank you for your assistance.

  • Hi Michel,

    Are @input_sites, @input_cegidlife, @input_fr, @input_rh file set paths or single file paths?

    For this kind of multiple From files EXTRACT, we haven't supported to include a file set in yet. But if all of them are single file paths, it should work.

    If you would like to add the capability of EXTRACT multiple file paths including file set, you can fill in a user voice in aka.ms/adlfeedback.

    Thanks.

  • Hello,

    Do you have any idea idea about this problem ?

    A workaround would be to write 4 EXTRACT statements, and make a UNION, but it will be probably less efficient.

    Thank you for your help.

  • Hi,

    They are all file set paths, of the form :

    "wasb://mycontainer@myaccount.blob.core.windows.net/{*}/XXXXXX-{date:yyyy}{date:MM}{date:dd}.json

    I will fill a request in uservoice.

    Thank you for your answer.
