Vista friendly to legacy apps? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have clients using legacy applications that are simply too good to change.  Windows Xp gave me problems with these legacy apps so we are still using 98 as much as possible.  Tried MS Virtual PC with no success.  IS VISTA ANY FRIENDLIER TO LEGACY APPLICATIONS?  The legacy apps were written in a very obscure data base language known as O'Hanlon.  Problems seem to be with it's file/record locking mechanisms.  Help appreciated.
