html 5 canvas style in snapped view RRS feed

  • Question

I have 3 canvas in a horizontal row. Each of them handles a click event. Everything works fine in landscape and portrait view. In snapped view, I've made these canvases a little smaller size. When I click any of these canvas in snapped view, they'r rearranged in vertical column. Why is so? What do I need to do in order to keep them in a line in snapped view?

  • The snapped view has a width restriction of 320px, your canvases are going vertical because their combined width is bigger than 320px.

    You either:

    1. Reduce the canvases width to be lower than 320px (via CSS and media queries)
    2. Wrap the canvases with a DIV that has a style with "overflow:auto" so that it shows scrollbars when the canvases overflow the limited 320px (also done via CSS and media queries)
