MSDN .NET Articles are Missing Examples RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • Has anybody else noticed that MSDN articles on .NET classes are missing data in the 'Examples' section.

All they display is the borders around where the examples used to be.

This is extremely frustrating.  Check out the following links :

    https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.windows.controls.treeview(v=vs.110).aspx

    https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.windows.datatemplate(v=vs.110).aspx

I have tried different browsers different devices.  Waited about 3 weeks to see if it is a temporary glitch but nothing.  I can't find anyway of reporting this issue to MS either.

  • Thanks Kristin.  Much appreciated.

As a temporary workaround if anyone else is having the issue you can download the MSDN help files through Visual Studio Help.

  • Thanks MEB Woods for bringing this issue to
our attention and Kristin for forwarding this issue to our team.
This is an unfortunate publishing error that we’re already aware of and are actively working on a fix. This issue requires a full rebuild of our content set so it may take a while for the fixes to appear live. Sorry for any inconvenience that this has caused.
