    Yes, you can make reports (.rdl) that can be used on web pages with the report viewer control to access reports on a report server.

    I am using webmatrix. Would it be a limitation and how can I get hold of this viewer control for browsers

    I have no experience with webmatrix, the report viewer control is a standard control used with web forms in visual studio.
