  • Hi mystique99;

    Entity Framework 4.1 is a out of band update and built on top of EF 4.0. To make your project aware of EF 4.1 you need to add a reference to the EF 4.1 dll where the install program loaded it. On a 32 bit machine it most likely was loaded to this directory:

    [System Deive]:\Program Files\Microsoft ADO.NET Entity Framework 4.1

    and the dll is in the \Binaries folder. On a 64 bit machine look in :

    [System Deive]:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft ADO.NET Entity Framework 4.1

    Once that has been added as a reference you will have access to EF 4.1.

  • Hi mystique99,

    You can have a try to use NuGet tool to import the Entity Framework4.1: http://nuget.org/
