Server/Client concept for .net Application RRS feed

  • Hi Frnds.....

                    I have developed a .net windows application,in vs2005,and Ms-access database......

    Please help me in this query......Now i want to run my .net application 2 to 3 systems.....but database should be same....now want can i do....

    Please help me out...Very urgent....

  • You need to put database on a shared drive and application should open it from there. If clients are remote and do not have any access to shared drive, you would need to implement web services that will provide data access between your client application and database, because Access does not support remote connections

  • Well, it is not 5-minute discussion. You would need to get some book about creating web services. In general web service is a class that exposes web methods and you application can consume these methods over the web as it would be any other local class. If you need to know how to do this, you really need to spend time with some book or some online articles.
